How to remove R1soft completely on CentOS

Introduction

In this article, we will explain how to completely remove R1soft backup client and repositories on CentOS.

Step 1: Remove packages

We start with removing the installed packages:

sudo yum remove r1soft-getmodule serverbackup-agent serverbackup-async-agent-2-6 serverbackup-enterprise-agent serverbackup-setup

Step 2: Remove stale files

Sometimes some files are left on the server, you can safely remove those files with:

sudo rm -rf /usr/sbin/r1soft/

Step 3: Remove the repository

Remove R1soft repository with:

sudo rm -f /etc/yum.repos.d/r1soft.repo
