Learn how to download Acronis backups in Plesk
In this article, you will learn how to download an Acronis Backup in Plesk. Acronis has an extension in Plesk. With this extension, you are able to backup files directly to Acronis or you can restore them. Furthermore, it is also possible to download the backups.
Prerequisites
Step 1: Log in to your client area.
Go to https://my.snel.com/clientarea/
and log in.
On the left side panel, click on Services
.
Select Webhosting
under the services
tab.
Select the right web hosting plan.
At the left side panel, select Login Details
.
Click on the URL to go to Plesk. Use the given Username and Password to log in to Plesk.
Step 2: Log in to Plesk
Step 3: Acronis Backup
After logging in, select Acronis Backup
next to the red arrow on the right.
Here you will see all of the backups that were made. Select your desired backup by clicking on it.
Step 4: Exporting an account
To export your account, Click on Export the account
.
Once the process is done, click on Download
to download the account that you have exported.
Step 5: Downloading files
As you have seen in the screenshots, there are three categories where you can download files from. Here is an example on how to download a file from each category:
- Databases
In order to download files from Databases, Click on Databases
now select the files that you want to download by checking the boxes next to them. Click on Download
to download the selected files.
Once the process is over click on Download

- Files
To download files from Files, click on Files
now select the files that you want to download by checking the boxes next to them. Once you have selected the files click on Download
to download the selected files.
Once the process is over click on Download

- Mailboxes
In order to download mailboxes, click on Mailboxes
then select the mailboxes that you want to download by checking the box next to them. Once you have done that, click on Download
to download the mailboxes.
Once the process is over click on Download
