Connect to Online Workspace using the HTML5 client

Introduction

Online Workspace is our Remote Desktop Services environment. This article will show you how to connect to Online Workspace by just using your browser. Not familiar with the HTML5 client? Try it, we love it!

Prerequisites

  • A Snel Online Workspace account. If you do not have a Snel Online Workspace account yet, you can order a Workspace account on Snel.com.

Step 1 – Log in at connect.snel.com

Open your browser and go to https://connect.snel.com and log in using the username and password that you have created in your My.snel.com client area.

Step 2 – Select resource

After logging in you will be presented with the available resources. Click on “Desktop”.

Step 3 – Allow access to local resources

On the next screen allow access to local resources as you wish. Normally the defaults should be fine. If you want you can check “Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer” so you won’t be asked the same question again when connecting from this computer. Click on “Allow” to proceed.

Step 4 – Enable fullscreen

After some loading, the desktop will be shown. For the best experience, we advise switching to full screen which can be achieved by clicking on the appropriate icon top right.
